Strikers and government fail to reach deal

Despite having talking for eight hours on Saturday, the Colombian government and the union representing 40,000 judicial workers failed to come to an agreement that could stop the strike that's paralyzed the country's justice system for weeks.

While the parties were talking the government is trying to find ways to force the strike to stop. According to Interior and Justice Minister Fabio Valencia Cossio, thousand people are waiting the legal agreement to be able to buy the medication they need.

300,000 people are reportedly affected by the strike.

The two parties will continue talking Sunday 5 PM to find a way out of the seemingly endless judicial strike.
