Colombia to have 100,000 peso bill

Colombia's Central Bank will issue a 100,000 peso bill halfway next year, the family of former president Carlos Lleras Restrepo -- who will be on the bill -- said Monday.

The bill will be issued on the celebration of the former Head of State's 100th day of birth.

According to Cambio Radical leader Germán Vargas Lleras, the former president's grandson and allegedly aspiring to be president of Colombia himself,"in a short while" the bank wil give more information about the new bill.

Lleras Restrepo was the 30th President of Colombia in was in office from 1966 until 1970.
