Juanes sings for wounded soldiers

Colombian singer Juanes and his band performed before three hundred wounded soldiers Monday.

The singer played for the members of the armed forced acoustically for 35 minutes. The event, organized by W Radio, was also attended by Colombian President Álvaro Uribe and some of his ministers.

"I give this small concert with all my lovend commitment as a citizen. You are the country's heroesand we love you very much, guys. We're here to have a little fun," the Paisa told the soldiers.

Most of the soldiers that attended were injured by anti-personnel mines and many of the men and women attended the concert in their wheelchair.

Juanes has a foundation, Mi Sangre, that's devoted to the rehabilitation of land mine victims.
