Shakira had asked the presidents to put early childhood development on the summit's agenda, which was granted by the Latin American leaders.
According to President Elias Antonio Saca, President of El Salvador where the summit will be held, Shakira will come to San Salvador to tell the leaders more about her foundation ALAS that does projects to improve living conditions of Latin American children.
"We decided to make space at the summit, so that she can speak about her foundation and the Presidents can approve projects for each individual country," Saca said Thursday
The summit will be held in San Salvador from October 29 until October 31.
