Miss Maja Colombia, one of the most celebrated beauty pageants in Colombia, is ready to present its contestants for 2012.

The organization for Miss World Colombia officially debuts their candidate to represent Colombia at the 62nd annual Miss World beauty pageant, which will be held this August in Ordos, China.

Seventeen contestants will compete for the title of Miss Choco, a department in western Colombia.

Bogota residents are dissatisfied with their candidate for Miss Colombia, according to local media.
