Natalia Navarro Galvis, representing the Bolivar department, was elected Miss Colombia 2009 on Monday following days of parades of the country's most beautiful women in Cartagena.
The 22-year-old Navarro was born in Barranquilla and studies Financial Administration at the International University of Florida in Miami.
The most beautiful woman of Colombia received the crown by Michelle Rouillard, who had represented Colombia at the Miss Universe election earlier this year in the Bahamas.
The election of the country's most beautiful women is one of the most important events in popular Colombian culture. The event had occupied prime time television for days on end.

Es una pena que habiendo mujeres tan lindas en este certamen ayan escojido la mas fe pero bueno asi es esto ya que si la quieren para que gane miss universo y sieron muy buena eleccion ya que en MU siempre gana una de las mas feas prueba de ello fueron estos 2 ultimos anos.
