Colombia donates 15,000 flowers to 'Valentine's Day' premiere

Monday's premiere or the new romantic comedy Valentine's Day will star 15,000 red roses from Colombia's Association of Flower Exporters.

According to a press release by the association, 5,000 movie fans at the premiere will each receive a Colombian rose, and 10,000 of the blooms will be used to decorate the cinema.

The stars of the film, including Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher and Jamie Foxx, will all receive a bouquet as part of the campaign to promote Colombian flowers.

Colombia's flower industry is one of the country's largest export sectors, bringing in more than one billion dollars a year.
