Colombian singer Juanes and his wife, actress Karen Martinez, are expecting their third child, magazine People en Español reported Tuesday.
The couple already have two daughters: Luna and Paloma.
"It's official. Karen, Juanes, Luna and Paloma are happy," said the singer's public relations office on its website.
Miami's
Diario de Las Americas, citing a source linked to an employee at
Juanes' house in the Colombian city of Cartagena, reported that the
child's birth is expected in mid-September, but so far the sex of the
infant is not known.
"Juanes was very happy and he even offered a toast with some friends for this new child," the source told the daily.
The
36-year-old singer on Sunday won another Grammy - this one for best
Latino pop album - for "La vida es ... un ratico," a prize he dedicated
to all the kidnap victims in his country in written remarks, since he
could not attend the award ceremony in Los Angeles.
